Katy Stringer
Director of Finance
Health Services & Policy
I look forward to creating financial solvency for the MaPHSA club so that we as a group can continue to grow and become even more influential inside the Los Angeles community. My focus will be to promote a collegial platform that allows input and a voice in financial decision making by all interested members.

Jennifer Zhang
Secretary
Community Health Promotion
As secretary of MaPHSA, I will be coordinating and developing monthly newsletters that contain information on our community’s current events, future events, along with student, alumni and faculty spotlights. This is a resource where students can share their own or read about other’s practicum and job experiences in the public health field.
Carmen Chavez

I am also a Research Coordinator for the USC MADRES Center for Environmental Health Disparities. I look forward to collaborating with the student body and learning how we can best serve our community during this critical opportunity to address public health needs.

Farid Sabbaugh
Director of Student Relations

Best way I can serve our students is through the realm of social media especially during the lonely quarantine where social distancing has become the new norm. Revamping MaPHSA’s social media platforms with innovative ideas that can help unite our online and resident MPH students. Exciting new developments are in progress so stay tuned!
Vijaya Seegulam
Director of Online Student Relations

I believe I can best serve our USC MPH students by increasing our funding to host networking events/meet-ups and creating more engaging online social media platforms for us to interact with each other to foster a stronger bond of USC MPH camaraderie.
Yvette Estrada

I want to serve my fellow MPH peers by helping connect online and in-person students. I want to help brainstorm programs and resources for those of us that are not at the physical campus that feel as authentic as being in-person.

Tayler Behr

As the new Graduate Student Government Senator for the Masters of Public Health Program, I plan to embody the role of an ambassador for our program and link students together while providing them with the needed resources to thrive as graduate students in today's world.
